5.5 Sections, lessons and topics
This one’s pretty simple.
It’s an overview of how our courses are built. We touched on it a bit in another topic on how to navigate each course.
A course will have major sections, where we introduce a group of lessons that teach you a broad piece of the class work itself.
Inside those sections, the lessons MAY contain content in the form of topics that drill down to very specific skills and concepts. Or, a lesson might be self-contained with no topics.
So, topics are part of lessons, and lessons are part of sections, and sections are part of courses.
You’ll move from topic to topic (or if a lesson doesn’t have any topics, then from lesson to lesson), then on to the next lesson, and move to a new section when appropriate. We show you how in that navigation topic in this course.
As I said, pretty simple.
And you’ll be able to see which topic, lesson or section you’re in by looking to the left hand column of any class (on desktop monitors, that is).
In addition to the course content in sections, lessons and topics, there’s also additional downloadable material for each class. It’s time to review how to get your hands on that stuff.
Hello,
Can’t wait to read further! Just wondering if maybe there is a way to collapse the left hand side where the Course Topics and Selections are so that if we need to go back, we can see everything in the course at a quicker glance.
Thank you so much and I love these little sections and the small video clips so as you can go back and grab and rewatch what you need to refresh!
