Who Do You Want To Be A Hero To?

Hey there, hero!

Legendary business coach Dan Sullivan asks this question all the time of his clients:

“Who do you want to be a hero to?”

I know who I want to be a hero to, and I know who I want to train my clients to be heroic for.

But I wonder if that’s what YOU want.

Watch this, and then let me know in the comments below.

Hope this helps!

David

  1. This was a good point today! I know I want to be a hero for the RH for my audiobooks but I had not thought about that when thinking about acting. Thank you David, this videos are such good nuggets of wisdom!

  2. Mr. DHL XVII….I give you a ‘Right On’ for this video!
At first your question sounded somewhat cosmic, but after your first few lines it clicked right in.
I have been a “hero” to any client who has hired me more than once without asking for another audition, which is always gratifying. And in the professional sense, as you mentioned, we VO’s are truly ‘heroes’ to copywriters and advertisers looking for the right voice/delivery (as long as we book the gig, of course), as well as the agents and casting directors who submit our name for gigs only because they believe we can deliver.

And I now realize I have waaaay too much to add, so I’ll just stop now. Thank you, David.
