Show notes:

Hey there, hero!

One of the skills we acquire as we become more experienced in performing on-camera and voice over acting is the notion of reframing when we encounter an outcome that is less than satisfactory. Instead of allowing that moment to hurt us, we re-frame it as a learning moment and growth opportunity.

It’s really useful.

Usually.

There’s one aspect of these moments that we can easily forget and is crucial to overcoming those challenges, and it’s important to make it your mission to do this particular piece of work.

  1. Oh my gosh!! This really hit me because I had a really embarrassing event happen on Sunday that sent me reeling! This podcast was just what I needed to hear and I so wish I had listened to it on Sunday! I think it would have helped me recover a lot quicker than I did! I am definitely examining my heart honestly and am ready to get busy reframing by rolling up my sleeves and fixing what needs fixing!! Bless you a bunch and Happy Thanksgiving!!❤️🙏

  2. Yes David. Delving into a challenge or perceived “failure” is most often the best way to meet it where it lives within you and begin to transform it into a skill and strength for the opportunities that lie ahead.

  3. Excellent advice! Totally agree…don’t beat yourself up, but look for ways to learn so you don’t keep making the same mistakes!
