Hey there, hero!

Everybody starts somewhere. And when you’re starting your journey, you rarely have the experience and resources you will eventually be able to use to your advantage.

So, what do you do when you’re first starting off? What words do you use to describe yourself when you’ve barely got your new equipment and fresh-smelling business cards?

Here’s a phrase I share with new performers, that you can feel free to swipe, that is honest and effective.

  1. Thank you for this phrase. It helps in many ways when you are starting out as a newbie. Catch 22 anybody?

  2. David,

This video is so helpful to me. It’s empowering when you know you don’t have any or many credits to your voice. I used it when I signed up for ACX. I felt comfortable using it as it is true.

    Thank you so much!

    Mary

  3. This is great advice (that I remember you giving me when I was new too) and it’s now something I keep in reserve when I’m approached about something I *haven’t* done before but I’m now trained to do thanks to your courses.
