Two Cases Where You Might Not Want To Simply “Follow Your Passion”

Hey there!

You’ve probably heard some form of this in your life: “Follow your passion, and the money will follow.”

I’ve got two instances where you might want to re-think that.

Hope this helps!

  1. Hi David,

    Great topic as always.

I also have the technology / teaching passion.

Two months ago you did a video about “Build Your Future On Your Own Platform, Not Someone Else’s.”

Have you settled on one, or a few options, for closed support groups other than Facebook?

  2. For sure, today it’s performing, followed closely by having a successful VO business. (Yeah, maybe that’s backwards, when you consider the dependency relationship between them!) Used to be computers and tech generally, for what I could make them do. But today’s business environment is very discouraging, with no opportunity to do any particular job *right*, but just do enough to get the monkey off your back and onto someone else’s RIGHT NOW. When I finish my bread trade for the day, I feel exhausted. But when I step out of my booth after a job, I feel *energized*! So is that how one recognizes his passion? Works for me!
