I love when my clients and students come up with a nifty way of using technology.
My buddy Brian Selke, who’s also a student of mine, just wrote about what he did with Bluetooth and TeamViewer.

I did something pretty cool yesterday. I used your trick of having the director on Bluetooth headset while I recorded. It was awesome!! I took it one step further…I got into a Team Viewer session and watched the video I was voicing. As I would finish the lines, I emailed them to her and watched her insert them into the video.
What would have taken two weeks of back and forth, took only two hours. I got to see my finished portion in its entirety right away!
I know this probably isn’t typical, but it was efficient and FUN!!! I even helped change a couple goofy sounding lines and made suggestions to the editing. It was totally collaborative and so cool!! The director loved it and wants to do it like that from now on.
