One Weird Trick I Do That Makes My Note-Taking Superhuman

Photo by The Climate Reality Project on Unsplash

Hey there!

Well, that is a pretty click-bait-y kind of title, isn’t it?

It would be if it wasn’t really true. But what I’m going to share with you today is something that I’ve used for the last several years to really move me from knowing something to doing something about it.

And it has to do with the way I take notes, and what I do that’s the reverse of what most people do.

Hope this helps!

David

  1. Brilliant! I will do this, so simple, yet so effective. My husband is going to love this too! Thank you David.

  2. I love this idea. Can’t tell you how much time I’ve wasted going back through notes looking for stars or underlines or boxes (I’ve done all three, and sometimes mix them up) looking for the stuff I wanted to follow up with from sessions I’ve taken!! And making that box – also fantastic – so simple, but I love me a ticky box where I can put that check mark!

  3. Yes, yes, yes! So simple but I can see how this will be hugely helpful in studying my notes. I am going to start taking notes on everything I watch including your little videos.

  4. Fantastic! I wish I knew this years ago. It would have been so helpful. I can’t wait to start using this idea! Thank you, David!

  5. This is a great idea. I’ve always put a circle in the left margin of the page and been happy when I can put a check box in it but I think your right that it causes me to clutter my mind as I go back and review. I’m anxious to try this and see if it’s problematic for me to have the “task” separated from the notes that I took prior to and after my thought of it. Do you know what I mean?

  6. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I really appreciate your efforts and I will be waiting for your next
write ups thank you once again.

**Keywords**: female dominance, dominant women, female-led relationships,
female empowerment, femdom, power dynamics, confident women, dominance and submission

    ### **What is Female Dominance?**

Female dominance refers to a social, relational, or sexual dynamic where women take the lead, assert authority, or exercise control.
This concept spans across various domains—ranging from
personal relationships and bedroom dynamics to corporate leadership and cultural
influence. While often associated with the world of BDSM (particularly in the context of “femdom”), female dominance also resonates
with broader movements toward **female empowerment** and **gender equality**.

    ### **The Rise of Dominant Women
    in Modern Culture**

In the 21st century, the archetype of the dominant woman has gained
unprecedented visibility and respect. Whether it’s CEOs, political leaders,
or cultural icons, assertive and confident women are reshaping what it
    means to lead.

In relationships, particularly **female-led relationships (FLR)**, women set the tone for decision-making, emotional direction, and sexual exploration.
These dynamics offer many couples a sense of balance, mutual respect,
    and heightened intimacy.

    ### **Types of Female Dominance**

    1. **Social/Interpersonal Dominance**
This includes women who assert leadership in friendships,
families, and romantic partnerships. It’s often rooted in confidence, emotional intelligence,
    and strong communication skills.

    2. **Professional Dominance**
Women who lead in the workplace—executives, entrepreneurs,
and influencers—demonstrate dominance by commanding respect, inspiring teams, and shaping
    industries.

    3. **Sexual Dominance (Femdom)**
In the realm of intimacy, dominant women may take charge in the bedroom, often exploring BDSM or kink-based
dynamics. Femdom includes everything from role play to more structured dominance and
    submission (D/s) relationships.

    4. **Psychological Dominance**
Some women lead with intellect and emotional control, often seen in manipulative, strategic, or deeply analytical behavior
patterns that place them in control of social or personal interactions.

    ### **Female-Led Relationships (FLRs): Empowerment in Intimacy**

    A **female-led relationship** is a consensual dynamic
where the woman is the primary decision-maker. It can be mild (e.g., guiding household choices) or more structured (including
    domestic discipline or sexual control).

    **Benefits of FLRs:**

    – Increased communication and clarity
    – Emotional growth for both partners
    – Empowerment of women and respect for their leadership
    – Exploration of power dynamics in a safe, consensual way

    ### **The Psychology Behind Female Dominance**

Many psychologists view dominance as a trait not limited by gender, but influenced by
personality, upbringing, and societal reinforcement. **Women who embrace dominance**
often break traditional gender roles, challenging outdated beliefs about submission and
    passivity.

Research shows that men and women alike can thrive in relationships
where traditional roles are reversed. These relationships often emphasize emotional intelligence, negotiation, and mutual respect—cornerstones of
    healthy partnerships.
