No problem.
I have a surefire process for never making any mistakes ever again.
You probably won’t like it, but it will work every time.
I’m sure you’ll reject it, but isn’t it what you’re doing now to avoid mistakes and failures? Let me know in the comments below.

I see an awful lot of people and I’ve
certainly done it myself
take on the attitude of I need to be
careful about making a mistake here I
need to be careful about making mistakes
in general and I get it you want to
maximize your success you want to
minimize the challenges that you have
but sometimes that goes to a point where
you just really get concerned about
making too many mistakes well I can fix
that for you I can make it possible for
you to never make a single mistake again
ever
you may not like it but I’ve got it for
you and we’ll talk about it in this
episode of the video Heroes podcast
[Music]
look I get it when you’re attempting to
do something new or you’re attempting to
get better at something that you already
are established at like performing
acting voice over Etc
uh and even my definition of success you
know do more of what works and less of
what doesn’t can lead you to be
concerned about making mistakes in
general
and you think to yourself mistakes are
failure mistakes or shortcomings
mistakes are me not meeting a challenge
uh forgetting about the benefits of
mistakes the benefits of failure the the
things that we learn about ourselves
about our process about our goals you
know that that whole notion of what not
to do in the future
there is though one way if you really
really don’t ever want to make a mistake
again in a particular process there is
one way that you can do that guaranteed
100 you will never ever ever make a
mistake and here it is listen carefully
don’t attempt anything
don’t do it
don’t try
don’t make a stab at it don’t don’t
reach out and and explore don’t do
anything just don’t do anything and
you’ll never make a mistake
now the question is
is that satisfactory to you and I’m
hoping that the answer is no you know
this whole phrase of nothing ventured
nothing gained
is bastardized sometimes by people and
adulterated to be nothing ventured no
mistakes made then that’s good right you
know I don’t have to worry about making
a mistake if I if I don’t even try well
that’s for me anyway that’s no way to
live your life and I’m hoping that
foreign
you take away from this the notion that
you need to be open to the idea of
failing be open to the idea of making a
mistake and not
not doing things not attempting to do
things because you’re afraid you’re
going to fail at it like you are going
to fail at it it’s you know I’ve said
this a hundred times you’re gonna make
mistakes
um I’m hoping that
you’re not saying to yourself well what
about surgeons if they make mistakes
people die yeah they that’s absolutely
true
they have an awful lot of support around
them the team the tools the monitors the
the operating theater itself the
tradition the checklists
if you’ve read the checklist Manifesto
uh great book
um
they are working in a mature space that
they hopefully have had a great deal of
experience sometimes making mistakes so
they know what to expect right
whole episodes of series are built on
the whole series House was built around
trying to suss out what the mistakes
were that people have made my point here
is I’m talking about when you first want
to start exploring something
when you first start to learn about
something or approach something or try
something new don’t let the idea that
you’re possibly going to make a mistake
and that might be painful stop you from
the attempt right so what I want you to
do is completely and holy reject the
notion that if you don’t want to make
any mistakes just don’t try anything
don’t don’t actually do that I wonder
how this is landing for you
right I wonder how this is making you
feel I wonder if this is giving you a
hall pass a permission slip to make
mistakes I hope so uh let me know in the
comments below and I’m talking on vo
